Ms Natalia Bogdanova MA in Piano Performance (Pianist/Chamber music soloist/Teacher), graduated from Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (http://istud.conservatory.ru/), one of the most famous music academies in the world and the oldest academy of music in Russia!

Since 2003 Natalia has been living in Ottawa, Canada. As a page-turner she worked with 10th and 11th Chamber Music Festival, in Ottawa. In 2004 she organized World of Fairy Tales festival (non-for-profit organization) and in October as a Manager/Special event Mrs Bogdanova successfully participated in organizing reception of the season opening concert by the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra with collaboration of the Russian Embassy.

Later in 2004 she resumed her own pedagogical career as a Piano Teacher, specializing with piano level 5-10 RCM and ARCT.

During 2007 as an accompanist Natalia participated in Kiwanis festival (www.ottawakiwanismusicfestival.com) and Canadian Music Competition (www.cmcnational.com) and later she took a part time position as a Piano Instructor at Carleton University in Ottawa. (www.carleton.ca/ssac/music/index.html).

Natalia started playing piano, learning music theory/history and singing in the children choir at the age of seven in Russia.
... At the age of 15, she was admitted to the Yuzno-Sakhalinsk Music College, where she successfully studied classical piano, focusing her attention on piano teaching aspects, methods and performance as a piano soloist under direction of Paulina Loseva,  Russian Federation's Honour artist.

In 1984 as a solo performer Ms Bogdanova participated in Far Eastern Competition of Young Performers (piano) in Vladivostok, Russia, where she won the Public Award of Young Concert Artists

After graduation in 1985, with Piano Teacher and Accompanist Bachelor's degree, Natalia acted as an accompanist and a teacher in Pedagogical College, working as accompanist in choir conductor’s class and as a performer in many choral, vocal and violin/cello concerts.

From 1987 Natalia continued her education as a pianist at one of the best University of the world, Rimsky-Korsakov Saint-Petersburg (then Leningrad) Conservatory under direction of Piano Professor Vasily Kolmikov, and in 1993 graduated with a Master degree in Piano Performance/Music Art.

In 1994 Ms Bogdanova left Russia and moved to Gothenburg, Sweden, where she worked in Opera House (http://www.opera.se), Ballet Academy and Dansforum as a ballet accompanist.

From 1996 till 2002 Mrs Bogdanova lived in Lund (South of Sweden) and worked with Malmo Music Theatre (http://www.malmoopera.se) as a musician of the symphony orchestra and performed the first Swedish rock opera, Kristina from Duvemala, written by former ABBA's Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus (www.duvemala.com/eng/musical.html). Also as a performer Natalia worked with Lyssa Davidson (piano-cello duet), and as pianist and organ performer at Kirsaberg Church in Malmo, Sweden, organized several workshops and concerts for weekends.

Besides her piano involvement Ms Bogdanova writes as a music critic. Her articles cover piano concerts, ballet performances, and festivals at the National Arts Centre (www.nac-can.ca), National Gallery (www.gallery.ca) and other cultural events in Ottawa and published in Russian language newspapers and magazines in Canada and Russia such as:

Working as a teacher Ms Bogdanova follows Russian school of piano and delivers her program according to the best European and Russian academic tradition, fostering not only a love of music but also aesthetic and humanitarian values. She emphasizes the development of student's musical abilities through the well thought-out exercises and acquitting her students with the best examples of musical literature.

Ms Bogdanova pays very much attention to piano technique development, position of the hands and articulation.
